About Ramona Football

Ramona High School Football

The 2006 football season will be a challenging and exciting journey. With your support and energy the student-athletes are capable of doing many great things. Since last January we have been working hard in the weight room and on the track preparing for what will be one of the toughest HOME schedules the school has faced in years.

The team still talks about the support and energy from the San Pasqual game last year. The “Signs” and tremendous support helped rally our team. It goes to show that with ‘Ramona’ support, the team can do great things. This year, Division 3 2005 champion St. Augustine High School travels to Ramona for an exciting home game. After this, Valley League powers Mission Hills, Valley Center, and San Pasqual all travel to the Dawg-Pound for exciting Friday Night Football!

As a staff, we now begin our second year continuing to build a football program that hopefully the community can be proud of. The student-athletes have put in the necessary work on the field and in the classroom to make 2006 a year to remember. As all teams, senior leadership will play an important role in how our season goes. Many of the seniors have been in the program for 4 years. Hard work does not guarantee victory, however it is the key ingredient to put you in the best position to “Compete for Victory”!

We aim to make Ramona proud and hope to get more student – athletes involved in our exciting program.

Go Dawgs!!!
